Current Vacancies:

eCommerce Technical Analyst (Head Office Middlesbrough)

Due to the ongoing success of the eCommerce department, a new role has been developed to aid in the development and support of the ecommerce websites and supporting marketing applications. The role will involve identifying and deploying changes to the websites, analysing marketing and behavioural data and offering technical support to existing applications and future projects.

Charles Clinkard are looking for a highly motivated self-starter to add to their growing team in this newly created role. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and maintain an understanding of the overall business and with the aim to deliver benefits through optimising the website performance using analytical data and best practice
  • Provide ongoing data analysis, reporting and insight of website performance and customer behaviour
  • Provide data extraction, analysis, reporting and insight to maximise website performance using Google Analytics
  • Ensure that  current and future reporting service requirements are identified and meaningful regular and ad hoc reports are created
  • Responsible for monitoring and maintaining data flows between website and 3rd party applications
  • Respond quickly to business requests for information, data and insight
  • Responsible for finding ways to calculate and analyse issues and solutions to analytical problems

Key Skills:

  • Understanding of HTML, CSS & JavaScript
  • Strong technical acumen
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience of Google Analytics is useful although not essential
  • Understanding of data analysis / numerical reporting
  • Capable of manipulating large transactional data sets
  • Retail or eCommerce experience is useful although not essential
  • A keen problem solver with an eye for detail
  • Able to work as part of a small team but also be a self-starter able to demonstrate using initiative.
