Customer Reviews:

"Fantastic service and welcoming staff at Cribbs Causeway. Very knowledgeable staff and not too pushy. Came away with a pair of my favourite Gabor Montana shoes as Gabor have stopped making Virginia; and also armed with the advice of how to keep them looking their best. Thank you so much, highly recommend you. Traveled quite far to get there but worth it. Will be back in with children soon!"

Set within the gigantic Cribbs Causeway shopping mall and leisure complex amongst countless retail giants, restaurants and a cinema, the Charles Clinkard Bristol store has been a resident for over fifteen years. Boasting a fantastic range of men’s, women’s, boys and girls footwear and accessories, as well as a specialist fitting service and prime focus on top level customer service means they stand out in the sea of other footwear specialists in the centre. Laura, the shop’s manager is always looking for ways to improve the store, and with the help of her young and enthusiastic team, she aims to ensure every customer has a successful shopping trip and enjoys their visit to her store. Most memorable of her stores loyal following is Mrs Hayworth, who has visited the store fortnightly for the past ten years. Laura looks forward to showing her the company’s new styles which she knows she will love!

Visit the store via car or bus for the most convenience! There are 7,000 free parking spaces at Cribbs Causeway, and it features its own bus station.

A city of firsts, Bristol is a fascinating city in England’s South west, famously the first place to produce a chocolate bar suitable for widespread consumption (at Fry’s Chocolate), hosting the first every bungee jump (at Clifton Suspension Bridge), inventing Ribena, and producing more hot air balloons than anywhere else in the world!

With your shopping bags in hand, take a break from the fast-paced world of Cribbs Causeway and slip into Starbucks, a few moments’ walk from the store, for a hot cheese and marmite toasted sandwich paired with an Americano. If you want to maximise your visit to the area, eight minutes from the shopping mall and leisure complex in your car is the Bristol Air Hop, a trampoline park for the whole family. Visit Bristol in August when they host the Bristol International Balloon Fiesta and you will see a sky sprinkled with a multi-coloured array of the flying aircrafts.

Laura has worked for Charles Clinkard at their Bristol branch for ten years. The self-motivated mother of two started in 2007 as Floor Manager, progressing to Assistant Manager and then becoming Manager in 2014. No two days are the same for Laura. She could be managing and monitoring staff and sales performance one moment, and then training staff the next! She strives to ensure that every customer leaves the store having had a positive experience and with the desire to return. She feels the most rewarding part of her job is getting to know such a wide ranging and diverse group of people; her staff, customers and colleagues in the wider Charles Clinkard business. Competitive by nature, Laura is always striving to be the best. She used to compete at a national level for athletics, and in her spare time loves to be active, clay pigeon shooting and adventuring with her children and dog!

She values the brand Caprice for their fashion conscious, versatile designs ideal for the younger market, and her favourite pair of shoes ever purchased are definitely Converse trainers; great to wear all year round and available in a wide range of colours! Upon winning the lottery, she would resist the temptation to go on a spending spree, and instead use the money to open her own business.
