Castleford’s Charles Clinkard Factory Outlet store within Junction 32 shopping centre stands out because of its focus on reliable top level service and its huge brand selection. With a presence in the town for over 12 years now, the store stocks an excellent choice in men’s, women’s, boys and girls footwear and accessories, also offering a specialist children’s fitting service.

Managed by Julie, the store is conveniently accessible by all modes of transport; there are 1,400 free parking spaces at Junction 32 shopping centre if you are travelling by car, where you can also catch frequent buses to the surrounding areas. Glasshaughton Railway station is conveniently situated next to the centre.

Take junction 32 off the M62 and you’ll find Junction 32, the multi-storey shopping centre housing our Castleford Charles Clinkard store. Originally the site of a Roman settlement, Castleford is also home to Xscape Leisure Complex with Snozone, formerly housing Britain’s largest indoor real snow slope. A destination for the whole family, Xscape comprises of a cinema, ski slopes and restaurants including Nando’s, and it is a stone’s throw from our Charles Clinkard store. After you’ve shopped, drop in BB’s coffee and muffins for freshly made muffins and a coffee. Costa is close by too.

Castleford was once a manufacturing powerhouse, with factories including Burberry, Nestlé (they produced their Toffee Crisp bars and After Eight’s here for 40 years!), as well as an array of factories servicing the Textile and Clothing industry.

Always having been immersed in footwear retail, Julie started as a Saturday girl at 14 years old and worked her way up to Supervisor level and then Manager at Lilley and Skinner. When her current position was advertised at Charles Clinkard, she went for it. Now having been with the company for 13 years, Julie loves working alongside her excellent team in their busy shop. Interacting with customers is what drives her, and when she’s finished for the day, her family and friends do. The Rieker Almada are the budding baker’s recommendation if you are looking for some great boots in store at the moment!
