I have always liked the grecian-style slippers and these are very comfortable. I take size 8 but these are a little less looser than I expected, however, that means I can wear thicker socks in the winter and they won't feel too tight. It might be nice to have some half-sizes perhaps. The lining is lovely soft leather and I really like the soft leather sole (I don't like hard plastic soles).

Look, colour, style as expected. However have discovered that if the sole of this slipper comes into contact with water it becomes unsafe for the wearer and it is easy to slip. Despite all the good features I've decided from a safety angle not to wear them. A disappointing outcome all round.

I bought these for my husband for Christmas as he had the same style 3 years ago. He is pleased with them as they are again a good fit and comfortable. I could not tell which size to get from the old pair as they were so worn out, but with excellent customer service from Gemma and further help from the Newbury branch by phone was able to measure accurately and even almost decipher the size from the sole to confirm which size to order on the website. Delivery was exactly as described and arrived within the time slot given.
