Joining the Charles Clinkard team in 2019, Dan started out as a member of our Warehouse team working within web dispatched.
In 2022, he made the move to our IT department and since then has been working across our stores and Head Office to keep our tech running smoothly and support business operations.
Can you explain what your job entails?
"As part of the IT Operations team, I support the company's technical infrastructure across both retail and office environments.
I handle support requests, hardware provisioning and contribute to wider IT projects such as system rollouts, network upgrades and maintaining good security practices.
My work spans cloud services, internal apps, retail technology and networking equipment."
Which accomplishments are you most proud of?
"I get the most satisfaction from making things work better behind the scenes - building automations that simplify day to day tasks, reduce unnecessary admin and help things flow more smoothly. It's great knowing that something I've put together is saving people time and hassle!"
