"I look after our menswear department, handbags, sundries and accessories. My job is to get the right products to the right customers, at the right place, and time, in order to maximise sales. 

I review and place repeat orders on best-selling lines, set up new products on our system and liaise with suppliers. I also make sure all store profiles are in place to ensure they receive the right replenishment and look at any stock movements to make sure the correct products are where they need to be to boost profits. During my time on the merchandising team, I have also stream-lined and improved ordering processes, which is one of my biggest achievements here at Charles Clinkard."

"I had my son when I was 17 which made me really think about what I wanted to do. At the time I was studying health & social care, but didn’t see myself pursuing a career in that field. I decided to look for an apprenticeship so I could continue my education while also earning an income to support my son. I started here when he was just three months old!

While working on reception I would do ad-hoc tasks for the merch department, which gave me a good insight into the general running of the department and some of the processes. I would say this experience motivated me to apply for a vacancy when it came up - which was for a merch admin position at the time. I really enjoyed the role and was inspired to work towards progressing to a merchandiser, which led me to where I am now."

I always have a hazelnut iced latte.
