Paradigma was founded in 1987 and is based in Guimarães, Portugal. A captivating and historical city that had an important role in the formation of Portugal, it is often referred to as the ‘birthplace of the Portuguese nationality’ or ‘the cradle city’.
The showroom is located in one of the oldest streets of Vila Nova de Famalicão, about 20 kilometres from the main cities in the north of Portugal and Francisco Sá Carneiro airport (Oporto).
Although it has always retained the traditional crafts employed in the construction of their footwear, Paradigma also engages the use of up-to-the-minute technologies, with hundreds of manual operations performed to create each model. The clue lies in the name: just as Paradigma is distinct in its concept and design, it also seeks to become the paradigm of successful shoe craftsmanship in the future, with the unrelenting work of two generations accumulating the know-how.

5. No cash amount will be given as an alternative. No alternative prize will be offered.
6. Winners will be chosen at random and prizes will be delivered to the winner.
7. Winners may choose any one pair of Paradigma shoes from the range stocked at Charles Clinkard.
8. The prize draw is open to all UK residents aged 16 and over, with the exception of The Clinkard Group employees, their families or anyone connected with the promotion. No purchase necessary.
