It’s Halloween on Monday!
Not only does that mean the potential rise of the undead, it also means hordes of children filled with sugar let loose on our streets. Scary.
Here at Charles Clinkard, we love All Hallows’ Eve. A chance to dress-up and gorge on sweets? Yes please.
The only thing that saddens us is that there are 364 days a year which aren’t the 31st of October.
Thankfully, fright night has turned into something of a fashion fest, with designers adding creepy creatures and frightening features to their catwalk collections. Along with the abundance of lace, velvet and patent leather all taking centre stage right now, this means we can keep channelling creepy couture right around the calendar. Ok, so our batwing jumpsuits might get a few (jealous) stares come Christmas…
As with all run-offs from the runway, the trend has trickled into the high street and filtered down to kidswear. We’re seeing spooky prints and patterns on myriads of mystical materials, helping little ones to embrace the mood. And footwear is no exception.
