Merrell exists to share the simple power of being outside with everyone. Their goal is to provide thoughtfully designed, rigorously tested products that over-deliver on performance, versatility, and durability.
Established in 1981, two executives for the Rossignol ski company, Clark Matis and John Schweizer, decided to launch a new maker of hiking boots. They joined forces with Randal Ivan Merrell, a maker of highly praised custom boots and the rest was history. Since 1997, the Merrell has been a wholly owned subsidiary of shoe industry giant Wolverine Worldwide.

If you prefer a walking shoe to a boot, then the Merrell Forestbound men’s trainers are a great alternative. With mostly the same properties as the Mid boot, the trainers offer more of a flexible ankle with Kinetic Fit™ BASE removable contoured insoles. Sticky rubber outsoles have durable traction and grip to protect your every move wherever it is you may end up with waterproof full grain leather uppers keeping wet weather out and all of the comfort in. |
