For Charles Clinkard, Ilkley is a wonderful setting for a shoe shop. Pretty, picturesque and steeped in heritage, the town attracts lots of tourists every year, making it a bustling country destination.
Before becoming part of Charles Clinkard, our shop in Ilkley, provided shoes to the town through three previous owners, giving the site a very long history with shoes. The shoe shop is located in The Grove, which is the main shopping area in Ilkley and here, you can park for free for two hours giving you great access to the high street with plenty of time to shop or to take a break in a local coffee shop.
Our shop provides footwear for men and women, with established brands such as Gabor, Barker, Rieker and Ugg. Barbara manages the Ilkley store along with assistant manager Debbie and the shop has 9 members of staff who are happy to provide their expert knowledge on the shoes to suit you best.
As well as shoe shops, Ilkley has many things for you to see and do. The town plays host to many cafes and restaurants, so choose from Betty’s Café and Tea Rooms, Bistro Pierre or The Olive Branch if you’re looking for a bite to eat. You can enjoy the idyllic scenery around Ilkley, by talking one of the many riverside walks or explore the famous Ilkley Moor.
