Some of Charles Clinkard’s fittest are enduring a tough 26-mile trek soon to raise money for Help for Heroes, a charity which provides a network of support for the wounded and their families.
They’ll be donning their lycra and waterproofs on 13th September and marching along the famous Hadrian’s Wall landmark in Northumberland, trekking through the National Park in the footsteps of the Roman Legionnaires who manned the wall up from around 130 A.D. to 400 A.D.
This is an extremely tough one-day event over hilly landscapes; forming an enormous challenge for walkers and taking a minimum of 12 hours.
We think that’s a brave effort for a Saturday!
You can sponsor our team and donate to Help for Heroes here. We’ll be sure to post some updates from the day, and hope to get some great snaps of the gorgeous scenery that surrounds us!

We wish everyone that’s taking part the very best of luck!
