Random Acts Of Kindness Day 2018
Saturday the 17th of February was Random Acts of Kindness Day and to celebrate we gave one lucky customer in each of our stores a free pair of shoes!
One of our surprised customers was Mr Pearson from Tewkesbury who was absolutely thrilled to receive his free pair of Rieker Zim from Trish at our Cheltenham Store. Meanwhile in Nottingham, Amelia and her mum Lizzie were chosen to receive their new shoes for free. Amelia was in her 2nd Disney princess outfit of the day, starting as Cinderella but deciding to change into her Belle outfit for shoe shopping!
In Glasgow, Jean Morin was shopping for shoes to wear for for Granddaughters wedding when she was chosen to receive her new shoes for free! Jean left the store with a new pair of Peter Kaiser Shoes as well as a pair of Gabor Temptation. Jean’s daughter in-law even returned to the store with a box of celebrations to say thank you.
Mother of the bride, Angela, visited our York store and was delighted to find a pair of Gabor Guide shoes that were a perfect match for her wedding outfit. Angela then cried tears of joy when she was chosen to receive her shoes for free.
Mrs Bridget Davis left a small message in Romsey after being selected to receive her shoes for free: “Delightful, charming and helpful staff. Thrilled with being a winner today. Thank you so much”. She also added that she loves to shop with Charles Clinkard online as well as in-store naming herself as a “shoeoholic”.
In Wetherby, Sally Beaden was visiting our store to get some new shoes for her son Harry when the pair were selected to receive Harry’s new Clarks Rufus Edge for free. Sally commented that the store staff were ‘really friendly and helpful’.
