There’s a new Shoe Shop in Glasgow!

Charles Clinkard has added to the shoe shops that Glasgow has to offer, with our new store in the West End.

On February 22, we took the wrappers off our newly refurbished shoe shop close to the heart of Glasgow. We’re absolutely thrilled to be increasing our Scottish presence, which is why we’re offering 15% off all shoes for everyone who prints off this article and shows it in store, until March 31 2012.

We’re based on the site of the old Sandalwoods store, one of the boutique shoe shops Glasgow houses, at 149 Byres Road, G12 8TS. It’s a great location, close to lots of amenities, and for the first time at that site, we’ll be selling men’s shoes in addition to ladies’ shoes.

That means brands like Loake and Barker shoes will be available in addition to Rieker, Ecco and Gabor shoes. Our new manager, Carole Quigley, is on hand to guide you through the range at Glasgow.

Glasgow’s reputation as a multicultural, vibrant and diverse city was a big draw for us. Surrounded by theatres, cafes and bars, we’re certainly not going to be short of good food and entertainment after work! One place we’ll definitely be going to is the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, pictured above, which has one of Europe’s best civic art collections.

We’re one of the largest independent chains of UK shoe shops, but we’re still family owned and run. Having only opened 3 new sites in the past 2 years, our Glasgow shoe shop is very special to us and we look forward to welcoming you there.
