Terms and Conditions
1. The Charles Clinkard Advent Calendar Sweepstakes Competition is open only to those who sign up via the submission form on the Facebook app. The sweepstakes is only open to legal residents of the United Kingdom and is void where prohibited by law. Employees of The Clinkard Group and their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, suppliers and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible to participate in the competition. Void where prohibited.
2. By participating, you agree to be fully unconditionally bound by these Rules, and you represent and warrant that you meet the eligibility requirements set forth herein. In addition, you agree to accept the decisions of Charles Clinkard as final and binding as it relates to the content.
3. Entries will be accepted online starting on 1st December 2014 and ending 24th December 2014. All online entries must be received by 24th December 11:59PM EST.
4. The competition must be entered by submitting an entry using the online form provided. The entry must fulfill all requirements, as specified, to be eligible to win a prize. Entries that are not complete or do not adhere to the rules or specifications may be disqualified at the sole discretion of Charles Clinkard. You may enter only once per day and you must fill in the information requested. You may not enter more times than indicated by using multiple email addresses, identities or devices in an attempt to circumvent the rules. This may result in your submission being removed from eligibility at the sole discretion of Charles Clinkard.
5. There are twenty-four (24) prizes to be won, consisting of five (5) pairs of shoes from the Clarks children’s range, five (5) pairs of shoes from the ladies’ Gabor range, five (5) pairs of shoes from the Rieker men’s range, three (3) Marks and Spencer vouchers to the value of £25, two (2) Lewis and Cooper hampers, one (1) Amazon voucher to the value of £25, and one (1) traditional sweet hamper. No cash or other prize substitution permitted. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for Charles Clinkard to use winner’s name, likeness, and entry for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.
6. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
7. Winners of the competition will be selected in a random drawing by an independently verified computer programme. Winners will be notified via email to the email address they entered the Competition with. The winner will be asked to reply to the email to claim their prize and make arrangements for delivery. Any prizes not claimed by the individual winners will be retained by the Promoter.
8. Charles Clinkard reserves the right, in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition. The Promoter reserves the rights to offer an alternative prize of equal or higher value should the advertised prize become unavailable for reasons beyond its control.By entering the Sweepstakes you agree to receive email newsletters periodically from Charles Clinkard. You can opt-out of receiving this communication at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in the newsletter.
9. The Promoter reserves the right to (a) disqualify any entrant who the Promoter believes has contravened any of these Terms and Conditions, and (b)select an alternative winner in respect of any Prize they may have won. The allocation of the Prize is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
10. Limitations of liability: Neither the Promoter, its agents or anyone professionally connected to the Promotion, assume any responsibility or liability for:
a. Any incorrect or inaccurate personal data entry, or for any faulty or failed electronic data transmissions.
b. Communications line failure, regardless of cause, with regards to any equipment, systems, networks, lines, satellites, servers, computers or providers utilised in any aspect of this Promotion.
c. Inaccessibility or unavailability of the Internet or the Facebook page or any combination thereof.
d. Any injury or damage to entrants upon delivery and/or use of the prize.
